Court 1 at 10am trial of Christopher Wilson accused of murder. The victim, 18-year-old Kacem Mokrane, was stabbed in the stomach in Walthamstow, east London.
Court 2 at 10am Mention in the case of Benjamin Matthews accused of murdering 33-year-old Nash Clyne in Acton, West London. Police were called after shots were heard.
Court 2 at 11am Mention in the case of teenage girl, Mia Campos-Jorge, 18, who is charged with murder. The victim 51-year-old Anthony Marks, was assaulted in Camden, North London.
Court 3 at 10am trial of Tyreece Riggon and another in relation to the murder of Lavaun Witter,22, who was stabbed to death in Croydon, south London
Court 3 at 10.30am Sentence of Jack Kavanagh and another. Kavanagh is the son of Irish crime boss Thomas Kavanagh. He admitted helping his father in a plot to amass an arms cache to dupe authorities into reducing his father’s sentence.
Court 5 at 10.30am trial of brothers Paul and Matthew Yusuff and their friend Moussa Traore accused of the fatal stabbing of Adrian Kise, 32, outside Waterloo station.
Court 6 at 10am trial of Dzhamilya Timaeva, 19, who gained a place at an Islamic Sunday school in order to teach her “extremist” beliefs to young children, the court heard. She saw it as a “duty” of her Islamic faith to “wage war against non-believers”, it is alleged.
Court 7 Day off in the trial of three suspected Russian spies. Bulgarian nationals, Ivan Stoyanov, Vanya Gaberova and Katrin Ivanova were arrested under the Official Secrets Act and are said to have been working for a Russian agent.
Court 9 at 9.45am trial of hospital worker Benjamin Aninakwa and an NHS trust who have both denied causing the death of a 22-year-old mental health patient after she allegedly gained access to items used in 18 earlier attempts to take her own life. Alice Figueiredo died at Goodmayes Hospital, north-east London, in 2015.
