Court 2 at 12 noon Pre-trial review in the case of Ozdemir Zia, a 75 year old bus driver accused of o causing death by dangerous driving following a bus crash which killed 83-year-old Edna McLean.
Court 3 at 10am trial of Tyreece Riggon and another in relation to the murder of Lavaun Witter,22, who was stabbed to death in Croydon, south London
Court 4 at 10am Trial of issue in the case of car sales executive Ivan Zailac, who killed a work colleague when he lost control of his BMW at nearly 100mph and smashed head on into 26-tonne truck. Stephanie Nye-Diroyan, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene just under two hours after the collision in Enfield, north London.
Court 5 Jury deliberating in the trial of three family members accused of the murder of 10 year old Sara Sharif, whose body was discovered at her home in Woking, Surrey. The child’s father, Urfan Sharif, 42, stepmother, Beinash Batool, 30, and uncle, Faisal Malik, 28, are accused of murder and to causing or allowing the death of a child between December 16 2022 and August 9 2023. The father admitted punishing her for being”naughty” after fleeing to Pakistan. Sara’s body was found with dozens of injuries, and she had been hooded, burned and beaten during more than two years of abuse.
Court 5 at 10.30am trial of brothers Paul and Matthew Yusuff and their friend Moussa Traore accused of the fatal stabbing of Adrian Kise, 32, outside Waterloo station.
Court 6 at 10am trial of Dzhamilya Timaeva, 19, who gained a place at an Islamic Sunday school in order to teach her “extremist” beliefs to young children, the court heard. She saw it as a “duty” of her Islamic faith to “wage war against non-believers”, it is alleged.
Court 7 at 10am trial of three suspected Russian spies. Bulgarian nationals, Ivan Stoyanov, Vanya Gaberova and Katrin Ivanova were arrested under the Official Secrets Act and are said to have been working for a Russian agent.
Court 9 at 9am trial of hospital worker Benjamin Aninakwa and an NHS trust who have both denied causing the death of a 22-year-old mental health patient after she allegedly gained access to items used in 18 earlier attempts to take her own life. Alice Figueiredo died at Goodmayes Hospital, north-east London, in 2015.

Court 13 at 10am trial of John Budal and two others accused of murder. Michael Patrick Afonso Peixoto, 27, was stabbed to death on 19 December in Croydon, South London in what was described as a “premeditated attack”
Court 14 at 10am trial of Vittorio Di Murro with the murder of Jordan Briscoe after being extradited to the UK from Italy. Briscoe was stabbed to death in North London
