Court 7 at 12 noon Sentence of Dajour Jones convicted of the murder of 20-year-old Jamie Gilbey, who was stabbed to death in “cold blood.” Gilbey’s body was dismembered and distributed in undergrowth in South Norwood, South London
Court 7 Day off in the trial of three suspected Russian spies. Bulgarian nationals, Ivan Stoyanov, Vanya Gaberova and Katrin Ivanova were arrested under the Official Secrets Act and are said to have been working for a Russian agent.
Court 8 at 9.45am Application in the case of Tyrese Osei-Kofi, who is serving life for murder. Jamel Boyce, 17, was left blind, paralysed and unable to speak after Osei-Kofi, 25, stabbed him in the chest in 2016. He died from his injuries six years later.
Court 9 at 9.45am trial of hospital worker Benjamin Aninakwa and an NHS trust who have both denied causing the death of a 22-year-old mental health patient after she allegedly gained access to items used in 18 earlier attempts to take her own life. Alice Figueiredo died at Goodmayes Hospital, north-east London, in 2015.
