CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY

Court 1 at 4pm Mention in the case of a defendant, who can only be referred to as LF, accused of terrorist related offences.

Court 2 at 10am trial of Philip Tarver accused of murdering his 86 year old mother with an ornamental sword and then decapitating her at their detached £600,000 Surrey home. He allegedly stored her head in a freezer.

Court 5 at 10.30am New trial of Brusthom Ziamani, 24, and Baz Hockton, 26, accused of attempted murder of a prison officer at HMP Whitemore. The officer, Neil Trundle, sustained stab and slash wounds to his head, chest and face. Hocton had allegedly donned a fake suicide vest.

Court 8 at 10.15am trial of Aydin Altun and two other members of his family accused of trying to mow down a police officer after a shooting in Tottenham, North London.

Court 10 at 10am Extradition hearing continues in the case of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. He is wanted in the US for allegedly conspiring with army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to expose military secrets between January and May 2010.

Court 13 at 2pm Pre-trial review in the case of lorry driver Christopher Kennedy and others over their alleged links to  human trafficking over the deaths of 39 Vietnamese people found in the back of a lorry in Essex in October.

Court 14 at 10am trial of Jimmy Onesta accused of rape. The victim was allegedly subjected to threats and a campaign of abuse. She told police that she only stayedMention in the case of Ryan Gordon accused of conspiracy to murder and firearms offences. with him because she was frightened.

Court 14 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Kieran Rifat accused of murder. The body of Ms Kelly Stewart. 41, was found in the grounds of Memorial Community Church, Barking Road, on the afternoon of Thursday, March 26.

Court 14 at 10.45am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Danyal Hussein of stabbing to death sisters Nicole Smallman, 27, and Bibaa Henry, 46, in Fryent Country Park in Wembley, north-west London, in the early hours of Saturday June 6.

Court 14 at 11.30am Sentence in the case of Jack Galvin,21, who is alleged to have lured a 13 year old girl into a London SE park for sex and persuaded her to send naked pictures of herself over SnapChat

Court 16 at 10am trial of Errol James, 51, and Romello Briggs-Leon, 25, who deny murder. Eraj Seifi, 46, was shot in the head in West London.
