Court 1 at 10.30am Sentence of Ashley Malcolm charged with killing 86-year-old John Burke, who was assaulted during a burglary on his Hackney, East London home.
Court 5 at 10.30am new trial of Higgins Homes PLC and four construction workers following the death of 29-year-old Michaela Boor in 2018, who was struck by falling bricks as she walked passed a building site in Bow, East London in 2018. Higgins Homes denies corporate manslaughter.
Court 6 at 10am Case management of nurse Anuradha Bhupathiraju, 62, accused of causing a child’s death by leaving his monitor turned off allegedly without a doctor’s permission. The victim, James Dwerryhouse was aged seven.
Court 6 at 2pm trial of Shakaine Dwyer, 29, who has been charged with the murder of Ruben Nunes, 34, from Peterborough, who was run over on 3 December in Willesden, London NW after a car mounted the pavement.
Court 11 at 10.30am trial of police nurse Sean Cregg over the death of William Cameron, 38, in January 2020. It is alleged Cregg failed in his duty of care by not acting on his observations that Mr Cameron could not walk and talk, making him unfit for detention in custody.
Court 12 at 10am trial of Joanna Cierpka, a 51 year old Polish woman, who is accused of killing Danish bankeer Henrik Slotsaa, 52, at their home in Elephant and Castle, South London
Court 15 at 2pm Sentence of motorist, Blerim Manallari, a 24 year old Albanian national, involved in a hit-and-run incident. He was teravelling at 60mph on a 20mph limit, stretch of road in Walthamstow, East London. He confessed to colliding with another vehicle while exceeding the speed limit, resulting in the tragic death of one man and injuries to two children.
Court 16 at 10am trial of Deepak Sandhu accused of murder. His alleged victim was his sex-worker ex-girlfriend. The Old Bailey was told how 24-year-old Sandhu killed 39-year-old Xiaoqing Ke in a “ferocious” knife attack at her Air BnB flat in the Earls Court area of London.
