Court 1 at 10am trial of Christopher Wilson accused of murder. The victim, 18-year-old Kacem Mokrane, was stabbed in the stomach in Walthamstow, east London.
Court 4 at 10.15am trial in the case of in the case of Kofi Nyanor and two others accused drugs and conspiracy to commit violence offences.
Court 4 at 11am Sentence in the case of Robert Shorter accused of perverting the course of justice in relation to the murder of Justin Bello, whose body was found dumped in a bin in 2019.
Court 5 at 10am Sentence in the case of Philip Jones and others in relation to the murder of 43-year-old Naython Muir, who was stabbed to death in Hounslow, London
Court 5 Day off in the trial of three family members accused of the murder of 10 year old Sara Sharif, whose body was discovered at her home in Woking, Surrey. The child’s father, Urfan Sharif, 42, stepmother, Beinash Batool, 30, and uncle, Faisal Malik, 28, are accused of murder and to causing or allowing the death of a child between December 16 2022 and August 9 2023. The father admitted punishing her for being”naughty” after fleeing to Pakistan. Sara’s body was found with dozens of injuries, and she had been hooded, burned and beaten during more than two years of abuse.
Court 6 at 10.30am trial of Dzhamilya Timaeva, 19, who gained a place at an Islamic Sunday school in order to teach her “extremist” beliefs to young children, the court heard. She saw it as a “duty” of her Islamic faith to “wage war against non-believers”, it is alleged.
Court 7 at 10am trial expected to open in case of three suspected Russian spies. Bulgarian nationals, Ivan Stoyanov, Vanya Gaberova and Katrin Ivanova were arrested under the Official Secrets Act and are said to have been working for a Russian agent.
Court 9 at 9am trial of hospital worker Benjamin Aninakwa and an NHS trust who have both denied causing the death of a 22-year-old mental health patient after she allegedly gained access to items used in 18 earlier attempts to take her own life. Alice Figueiredo died at Goodmayes Hospital, north-east London, in 2015.

Court 13 at 10am trial of John Budal and two others accused of murder. Michael Patrick Afonso Peixoto, 27, was stabbed to death on 19 December in Croydon, South London in what was described as a “premeditated attack”
Court 14 at 10am trial of Dajour Jones accused of the murder of 20-year-old Jamie Gilbey, who disappeared. His body was found in South Norwood, South London
