Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Tuesday
Court 1 at 11am Mention in the case of Daniel Cooper accused of murder. The victim, 33-year-old Josh McKay, was stabbed in Waltham Forest, East London.
Court 1 at 11.30am Pre-trial review in the case of in the case of Kofi Nyanor and two others accused drugs and conspiracy to commit violence offences.
Court 2 at 10am trial of Mohammed IIdow accused of raping and killing a woman in West London. Natalie Shotter, 37, died on 17 July 2021 in Southall Park after a night out with friends.
Court 4 at 10.15am Pre-trial review in the case of Muhammed Ahmed accused of terrorist related offences. The charges relate to 19 alleged breaches of notification requirements under the Counter Terrorism Act 2008. He is also charged with two offences of fraud by false representation.
Court 5 at 10am Jury deliberating in the trial of a 17 year old, who cannot be named as he is aged under 18, accused of murder. The victim 16 year old Harry Pitman was stabbed to death after accidentally bumping into a stranger. The teenager on trial allegedly claims the killing was an accident and he was acting in self defence.
Court 5 at 10.30am New trial of three family members accused of the murder of 10 year old Sara Sharif, whose body was discovered at her home in Woking, Surrey. The child’s father, Urfan Sharif, 42, stepmother, Beinash Batool, 30, and uncle, Faisal Malik, 28, are accused of murder and to causing or allowing the death of a child between December 16 2022 and August 9 2023. The case is expected to start before a jury next Monday.

Court 9 at 10am trial of Melvis Mariano and Abby Lowne in relation to the killing of 19-year-old Kamal Nuur, who was stabbed to death in Islington, North London
Court 10 at 10am trial of Kyiza Sandiford, 23, and two others charged with in relation to 22 year old Keelen Morris Wong’s murder. The victim was stabbed to death in South London.
Court 11 at 10.30am trial of police marksman Martyn Blake accused of murder. The victim, 24-year-old Chris Kaba, was in the driver’s seat of an Audi car when he was shot in the head in Streatham, south London, in September 2022.
Court 12 at 10am New trial of Saqib Khan and others accused in relation to the murder of 26-year-old Anselam Senaj, who was stabbed to death inside a car in East London.
Court 13 at 10am trial of Christian Braimah and three others accused of murder. Naython Muir, 43, was stabbed to death In Hounslow, London NW.
Court 14 at 10am trial of Dajour Jones accused of the murder of 20-year-old Jamie Gilbey, who disappeared. His body was found in South Norwood, South London
