Court 5 at 10am trial of motorist, Octavian Cadar accused of killing the daughter of an Ecuadorian politician, 27-year-old psychology graduate Vanessa Sagnay de la Bastida. She was known as Charlotte and died after being struck by a Mercedes on London’s Wandsworth Bridge
Court 6 at 10.30am New trial of bus driver Aston Hopwood accused of causing the death of one of his passengers by moving off as the man tried to board the vehicle. Steven Mitchell, 60, died after the accident in Peckham, London SE
Court 7 at 10am trial of Rashid Ali accused of causing death by dangerous driving. Marketing executive Jack Ryan, 29, was out jogging when he was struck by a Range Rover Sport driven by Rashid Ali, 28, just after 6pm on January 13, 2021.
Court 8 at 10am Mention in the case of Milumo Pedrinho accused of attempted murder. He is alleged to have stabbed a man in his 30’s on Seven Sisters tube station. The victim suffered “life threatening injuries” according to police.
Court 8 at 10.30am New trial of Faseh Sajid, who has been charged with six counts of disseminating terrorist publications contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Court 11 at 11.15am Mention in the case of PC Christopher Corker. Arthur Hölscher-Ermert, 27, was on foot when he was struck by a police car just after 11.10pm on Saturday 30 April 2022.
