CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON TUESDAY

Court 1 at 10.30am Court 10 at 10am trial of James Watson, who is charged with murdering six year old Rikki Neave. Rikki’s naked body was in woodland a few minutes from his home in Welland, Peterborough, on November 29 1994. Watson would have been 13 at the time of the killing. He was arrested following a cold case review

Court 5 Not sitting trial in the case of Bobby Ternent and another accused of murder. John Avers, 47, suffered “catastrophic” injuries when he was held down and run over four times, in Dagenham, East London supermarket carpark.

Court 6 Not sitting trial in the case of Luke Matthews and others accused of murder.  Kyle Kelson, 25, was blasted in the head with a shotgun in the early hours of June 19 in North Cheam, Surrey.

Court 7 at 10am trial in the case of Kemar Brown and Phylesia Shirley. Themother, and her former boyfriend are accused of killing her two-year-old son The toddler suffered 39 fractures.

Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of David Adeyanju and others accused of murder. Minicab driver Gabriel Bringye, 37, was found collapsed inside a vehicle in Tottenham, north London suffering from stab wounds.

Court 8 at 2pm Pre Inquest into the death of Sabina Rizvi,25, who was shot dead in 2003 outside Bexleyheath police station in London SE. It was decided that there has not been an adequate and effective investigation into the circumstances in which Sabina died, which includes investigation of the role of the Metropolitan Police Service.

Court 9 at 10am trial in the case Abubaker Deghayes accused of encouraging terrorism during a speech at a Brighton mosque

Court 12 at 10.30am trial in the case of Kai Holder accused of causing death by dangerous driving. Holder was driving a moped belonging to the Dominos pizza chain, with the victim, 14 year old schololboy Bradlee Alboni-Odellas a passenger, when the fatal crash took place.

Court 14 at 10.30am New trial in the case of William Chinyanga, 50 of north London, charged with four counts of encouraging terrorism, contrary to section 1 of the Terrorism Act. The UK based MDC-Alliance activist was arrested by British police last year for encouraging people to burn down service stations and businesses in Harare, Zimbabwe, through posts on Facebook. He worked as a supply teacher in London
