CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON THURSDAY

Court 1 at 10.30am Application in the case of Michael Lebbie and another accused of the 2020 murder of Kamal Nuur,18, in Islington, North London. The victim was stabbed to death.

Court 1 at 11.30am Application in the case of Bhoniefas Rexson,18, accused of murder. Gedeon Ngwendema, 21, was stabbed to death in Brent Cross shopping centre in London NW.

Court 1 at 2.30pm Mention in the case of Airidas Janavicius charged with the murder of 44-year-old Marius Lakavicius following an assault in Dagenham, East London. The victim died of head injuries.

Court 5 at 9.45am Mention in the case of Kane Gilead accused of murder. The victim 25-year-old Ramane Wiggan, was shot dead in Lambeth, South London

Court 6 at 10am trial in the case of Luke Matthews and others accused of murder.  Kyle Kelson, 25, was blasted in the head with a shotgun in the early hours of June 19 in North Cheam, Surrey.

Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of David Adeyanju and others accused of murder. Minicab driver Gabriel Bringye, 37, was found collapsed inside a vehicle in Tottenham, north London suffering from stab wounds.

Court 9 at 2pm Sentence in the case of Shanil Patel accused of murdering his 61 year old mother in Greenford,Middesex. The victim died of head injuries.

Court 10 at 9.45am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Albanian garage worker Koci Selamaj, 36, who allegedly murdered 28-year-old primary school teacher Sabina Nessa as she walked through Cator Park in Kidbrooke, south-east London, on her way to meet a friend on September 17. It is claimed her attacker used a 2ft long weapon to strike her repeatedly before carrying her away unconscious.

Court 10 at 2pm Sentence in the case of Bryan Patino-Guerrero accused of rape.

Court 12 at 10am trial in the case of Leon Smith, 39, Warwick Burrows, 47, and others, who are said to have been part of a gang war waged against Turkish crime families in north London. They deny conspiracy to murder.

Court 14 at 10.30am trial in the case of pensioner Keith Bettison,71, who denies murdering his 48 year old wife Ildiko Bettison in Chessington, London SW

Court 15 at 10am trial of Nicola Leighton and her son Tyreese Ulysses,19, accused of murdering Levi Ernest-Morrison,17, who was hacked to death in a machete attack in Sydenham, London SE.
