CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY
Court 1 at 10am trial in the case of Junior Gbadamosi accused of attempted murder. The 22 year old allegedly hit a woman neighbour around the head with a guitar and a cat scratcher. She claims he repeatedly shouted: “In the name of Jesus, you’re a Satanist, you deserve to die.”
Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Kane Gilead accused of murder. The victim 25-year-old Ramane Wiggan, was shot dead in Lambeth, South London
Court 6 at 10.15am trial in the case of Matthew Henegan, who allegedly kept a terrorist weapons manual and handed out leaflets to ‘stir up racial hatred’.
Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of David Adeyanju and others accused of murder. Minicab driver Gabriel Bringye, 37, was found collapsed inside a vehicle in Tottenham, north London suffering from stab wounds.
Court 9 at 10.30am New trial of Asad Bhatti charged with terrorist offences. He is accused of possessing chemicals found in a storage unit that were capable of producing the explosive substance nitroglycerine. Three remote detonators, including an improvised detonator that contained traces of an explosive substance, were also allegedly found at his Redhill, Surrey home and in the storage unit.
Court 10 at 10am Sentence in the case of Taye Francis and another accused of being involved in the murder of a woman in a West Greenwich, London SE hotel. Khloemae Loy,23, was stabbed to death
Court 10 at 11am Sentence in the case of PC Jamie Lewis, 33, and former colleague Deniz Jaffer, 47, who pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office after taking and sharing photos of murdered sisters Bibaa Henry,46, and Nicole Smallman,27.
Court 12 at 10am trial in the case of Leon Smith, 39, Warwick Burrows, 47, and others, who are said to have been part of a gang war waged against Turkish crime families in north London. They deny conspiracy to murder
Court 14 at 10am trial of Nicola Leighton and her son Tyreese Ulysses,19, accused of murdering Levi Ernest-Morrison,17, who was hacked to death in a machete attack in Sydenham, London SE.
