CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON FRIDAY

Court 1 at 10am Sentence continues in the case of Cornelius Tully, who killed 62-year-old Michael Morris-Owens, a complete stranger, in a frenzied bayonet attack that left the victim with 30 stab wounds. The attack took place in front of horrified bystanders in Kensal Green, who tried to help but the victim died at the scene.

Court 1 at 10.30am Sentence in the case of Armani Bridge-Stewart following a shooting in London SW.

Court 4 at 9.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Kieran McHugh and another accused of murder. Abdi Khadar Adan,32, died in hospital after he was stabbed in East London at around 4.30pm on Sunday August 22

Court 6 Not sitting trial in the case of Grzegorz Szal and another accused of murder. Grzegorz Pietrycki, 25, collapsed outside a house in Wood Green, north London, in the early hours of August 23 2016 after being stabbed.

Court 8 at 10am trial of Nanu Miah and four others accused of murder. Property manager Eron Miah,40, was found lying in a side road in Whitechapel, East London on November 19th with gunshot wounds to the head.

Court 9 at 10.15am Sentence in the case of James Martin,27, a white van driver, who ran over and killed 38 year old Stella Frew after refusing to pay her 50 pounds for oral sex.

Court 12 at 10am trial in the case of Leon Smith, 39, Warwick Burrows, 47, and others, who are said to have been part of a gang war waged against Turkish crime families in north London. They deny conspiracy to murder.

Court 14 at 10.30am trial of Nicola Leighton and her son Tyreese Ulysses,19, accused of murdering Levi Ernest-Morrison,17, who was hacked to death in a machete attack in Sydenham, London SE.
