CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON FRIDAY
Court 1 Not sitting trial of Christian Fearon and another accused of the murder of Lennox Nigel Alcendor,42, in Cricklewood, London NW. The victim was stabbed in the neck.
Court 2 at 9.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Jordan Bramble, 21, who was charged with murder and arson in February after a 46-year-old man died following a fire at Highgate Mental Health Centre in North London.
Court 10 at 10am Mention in the case of Sukminder Sohal and four others accused of murder. Osvaldo Carvelho,22, was stabbed to death during a fight in West London.
Court 2 at 10am Application in the case of Elijah Morgan,19, accused of murder. Drill rapper, Crosslom Davis, 20, also known as Bis, was fatally wounded on Bronze Street, Deptford, southeast London on December 6 last year. He was a member of the Harlem Spartans music group, based in Kennington.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Aydin Altun and two other members of his family accused of trying to mow down a police officer after a shooting in Tottenham, North London.
Court 8 at 2pm Application in the case of Taylar Isaac and David Kerrigan accused of murder. Joshua White, 29, died in hospital after being stabbed through the heart on the afternoon of April 26. Kerrigan is also accused of attempting to murder a second man.
Court 9 at 10.15am trial of £90,000 a year finance consultant Clare Sanders and her partner accused of murdering their four week old baby. The tot suffered severe head injuries.
Court 14 at 9am Pre-Trial review in the case of James Watson, who is charged with murdering six year old Rikki Neave. Rikki’s naked body was in woodland a few minutes from his home in Welland, Peterborough, on November 29 1994. Watson would have been 13 at the time of the killing. He was arrested following a cold case review.
Court 14 at 10.30am trial of Mohammed Humza accused of terrorist related offences
Court 16 at 10am trial of HGV driver, Eamonn Harrison and three others in relation to a lorry in which 39 Vietnamese migrants died. Eight women and 31 men were found in the container in Purfleet, Essex, on 23 October last year. Police said they died from a lack of oxygen and overheating in an enclosed space.
