CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY

Court 2 at 10.30am Mention in the case of Hashem Abdi, the brother of the Manchester  Arena bomber who in May 2017, killed 22 people and injured 260 more. Abdi denies multiple murder charges and terrorism offences.

Court 3 at 10am Plea and case management in the case of Ayub Nurhussein and another charged with funding terrorism and possessing a document containing information likely to be useful to a terrorist

Court 5 at 2pm New trial of Kelano Gooden-Josephs and a 16 year old teenager accused of attempted murder following the stabbing of a 21 year old male in Kilburn, London NW.

Court 6 at 2pm Inquest into the death of Sabrina Rizvi, 25,who was fatally shot in the early hours of 20 March 2003 outside Bexleyheath police station in South London. The inquest follows a long fight by the victim’s family to get the death looked into again.

Court 8 at 10am trial continues of Karlos Gracia and three others accused of murder. Kwasi Mensah-Ababio,26, was shot in the head in Wembley, London NW.

Court 9 at 10am New trial of Anuoluwa Temenu accused of  murder.

Court 10 at 10.30am New trial of Mandeep Khambia accused of attempting to murder a woman in Harrow, Middlesex

Court 11 at 12 noon New trial of Kristian Smith accused of murdering 52-year-old Antoinette Donnegan, who was strangled  at a flat in Wandsworth, southwest London

Court 12 at 10am New trial of Drill rapper Daniel Lena, who performs as Unknown T and two others accused with murder. Narvaez-Jara,19, was stabbed to death in the early hours of the morning on New Year’s Day last year at a house party near Old Street in London

Court 14 at 10am trial of Dominic Calder and two others accused of murder. Meshach Lee Mitchell Williams21, was stabbed to death in Harlesden, London NW in April

Court 15 at 10am  trial continues of Chris McDonald and Aliysa Ellis accused of murder.  Body builder Paul Tong,53, was beaten to death during a robbery at his London home.

Court 16 at 9.30am trial continues of Roger Jenkins and two other senior Barclays Bank executives accused of fraud. They allegedly lied to secure billions of pounds from Qatari investors and averted a taxpayer-funded bailout during the global financial crisis.
