Court 10 at 10am trial in the case of Mustafa Bolat accused of attempted murder. It is alleged her tried to murder Ali Unlu ina North London convenience store. He fired three shots but missed each time.
Court 11 at 9.45am Sentence in the case of Eugenu Neamtu convicted of murder. Neamtu, 59, known as Jimmy, was jailed for murder in his native Romania in 2007 after stabbing his housemate in the chest in a drunken row over money. He was freed in 2023 and moved to Walthamstow, east London where prosecutors said he killed fellow Romanian Gheorghe Trica, 63, on 20 February in “strikingly similar” circumstances.
