Court 5 at 10.30am Mention in the case of Parvez Ahmed Rahman, 33, accused of knocking down and killing cyclist Chris Powell,51, in Stepney Green, East London. Rahman was charged with attempted murder after failing to stop at the scene of the accident.

Court 6 at 10am Mention and then sentence of serial sex attacker Simon Levy, who was found guilty of murdering two women and raping a third. He had already been found guilty of a series of sex attacks.

Court 11 at 11am New trial of Eugeniu Neamtu accused of the murder of a man in his 60’s, who was stabbed to death in Walthamstow, East London

Court 15 at 10am trial of Liam Kindon accused of a serious sexual offence.

Court 16 at 10am trial of eight alleged Palestine Action activists following a break in at Elbit Systems UK. Palestine Action allege Elbit Systems UK is involved in the manufacture and supply of weapons to the Israeli military – a claim the company strongly denies
