Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Wednesday

Court 2 Day off trial in the case of three Eastern European men accused of arson on properties related to PM Sir Kier Starmer.  A vehicle fire in Kentish Town, north London, a fire at the prime minister’s private home on the same street and a fire at an address that he previously lived in Islington, north London. The court heard a Russian paid them to do it.

Court 5 trial of five youths in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Keanu Harker in Enfield, North London, which occurred in June 2025. The victim was chased and shot twice.

Court 6 at at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Dylan Gan accused of murder. The victim, 25-year-old Suleyman Nuh, was stabbed to death in Camden, North London

Court 6 at 11am Mention in the case of Nerijus Kuneckis accused of causing death by dangerous driving of two people in a crash on the A13 in Rainham, Essex. Laimonas Nazrvydas,37, a father of a young daughter and Kalim Hadzhiev, a 45 year old dad of two, both died at the scene of the collision.

Court 7 at 10am Mention in the case of Chibueze Chukwurah accused of murder.  Taiwo Ekerin,41, died of a serious head injury in Lewisham High Street, London SE.

Court 7 at 11am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Joanna Cierpka, a 51 year old Polish woman, who is accused of killing Danish banker Henrik Slotsaa, 52, at their home in Elephant and Castle, South London

Court 10 at 10am trial of Norwegian teenager Johannes Natland,19. It is alleged he is a hitman, who flew to the UK from Norway to murder an unknown target on behalf of an organised crime group used by the Iranian regime

Court 12 at 10am trial of Dennis Gambrah and four others charged in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Tyrece Balcha, who was shot dead in Wembley, West London

Court 13 at 10am trial of Shuja Mohsin accused of sharing terrorist videos and having information about plastic explosives.

Court 14 at 10am trial of Yonus Girma and another in relation to the murder of Stephen Morrison, 30. He was found seriously injured on the forecourt of a Shell petrol station in Epping Road, Epping, Essex, at about 8pm on June 23, 2020. He died later in hospital from stab wounds.
