Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Tuesday

Court 2at 10am trial in the case of three Eastern European men accused of arson on properties related to PM Sir Kier Starmer.  A vehicle fire in Kentish Town, north London, a fire at the prime minister’s private home on the same street and a fire at an address that he previously lived in Islington, north London. The court heard a Russian paid them to do it.

Court 6 at 10am trial in the case of a 39 year old Turkish man, who allegedly shot Onur Guzel, 38, after accusing his family of paying money to a rival Turkish gang. The defendant is alleged to have plotted to kill the victim, who was attacked outside his father’s popular restaurant, Umut 2000, in Dalston, east London 

Court 7 at 11am New trial of Eliezer Mbaki and four others chargesd in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Keanu Harker in Enfield, North London, which occurred in June 2025.

Court 8 at 10am Pre-trial review in the case of Daniel Levy accused of murder. Kaleem Shaik, 41, was found in a property in Lambeth, South London on New Year’s Eve 2025

Court 10 at 10am trial of two men accused of murder. Ahmed Jama, 29, was stabbed to death in St. John’s Wood, London NW.

Court 11 at 10.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Thames Valley police officer PC Philip Duthie accused of causing death by dangerous driving as he was answering an emegency call. He allkegedly drove on the wrong side of the road at 60mph when he hit a woman. Kimberley Cameron, 27, died after trying to cross the A41 Bicester Road in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, on 16 April 2021.

Court 13 at 10am trial of two brothers accused of murdering a man 41 years ago as he walked home. Anthony Littler, 45, died from ‘catastrophic’ head injuries after he was found in an alleyway near East Finchley Tube station in north London on May 1, 1984.

Court 14 at 10am trial of Yonus Girma and another in relation to the murder of Stephen Morrison, 30. He was found seriously injured on the forecourt of a Shell petrol station in Epping Road, Epping, Essex, at about 8pm on June 23, 2020. He died later in hospital from stab wounds.

Court 15 at 10am trial of Dwight Merrick accused of murder. Shaun Latimer-Kayser,44, was stabbed to death in Camden, North London
