Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Friday

Court 2 at 10am trial in the case of Roman Lavrynovych and another Ukarian and a Romanian accused of arson on properties related to Sir Kier Starmer.  A vehicle fire in Kentish Town, north London, a fire at the prime minister’s private home on the same street and a fire at an address that he previously lived in Islington, north London.

Court 4 at 11am Mention of Tsidi Winion,20, accused of murdering a 15 year old schoolboy in Islington, North London. Adam Henry was stabbed to death

Court 5 at 10am Mention in the case of Mourek Ebanks accused of murder after 27 year old man, Kyrone Moodie was shot dead in Clapham, South London

Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Ercan Akbal and five other Kurds, who  have pleaded not guilty to membership of the proscribed group, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, also known as the PKK, between March 1 2011 and November 27 2024.

Court 5 at 11am Sentence of Paul Page, who was described as having a Nazi ‘fascination’ after police discovered his home brimming with memorabilia and 600 weapons. He is charged with terrorist offences,

Court 6 at 10am Mention in the case of X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington, who is charged with attempted murder after a car hit pedestrians in central London. She was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and actual bodily harm as well as drink-driving.  She starred in the X Factor live finals in 2013 as one of the three members of Miss Dynamix. The alleged victims are Klaudia Zakrzewska, 30, Anoush Chyche, a man in his 50s, who were seriously hurt and another woman received minor injuries.

Court 6 at 10.15am Sentence of van driver Paul Jones, who pleaded guilty to causing the death of Tracey Nicholls by dangerous driving in Marylebone, West London. 

Court 6 at 2pm trial in the case of Kulvinder Ram accused of attempted murder. A woman aged in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy were all found suffering stab injuries in a house in Dagenham, East London

Court 9 at 10am trial of Abdullah Albadri accused of terrorist offences after a man armed with two knives was arrestedd trying to break into the Israeli embassey in London. He was allegedly found with a martydom note

Court 10 at 3.15am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Dante Ashley and others, in relation to the murder of 24-year-old Jonah Ho-Shue, who died from a single stab wound in Albert Road, Hornsey, North London

Court 10 at 10.30am trial of Alrind Hashani and another accused of murder. Ahmed Jama, 29, was stabbed to death in St. John’s Wood, London NW.

Court 11 at 11am Sentence of Nancy Pexton who was found guilty of murdering her film director sister and stealing her diamond encrusted Rolex watch.  Pexton slashed and stabbed her sibling Jennifer Abbott,69, 10 times and then left her body for three days in her flat in Camden, north London.

Court 11 at 2pm Plea and trial preparation in the case of Rhys Huskinson and three 16 year olds in relation to the murder of Maliki Sharma,18, who was stabbed to death in Feltham, West London

Court 13 at 10am trial of brothers Anthony and Michael Stewart accusesd of murdering a man 41 years ago as he walked home. Anthony Littler, 45, died from ‘catastrophic’ head injuries after he was found in an alleyway near East Finchley Tube station in north London on May 1, 1984.

Court 14 at 10am trial of Jahmal Joseph accused of shooting to death his cousin and injuring his brother following a row at a wake. Jordan Rodney, 30, died after being shot in the eye and his brother Omar Joseph was shot in the head and hand in Hammersmith, West London

Court 14 at 2pm Mention in the case of Musse Ali accused of stabbing to death pensioner McLeggan,77, and attacking to others on East Street, Walworth, London SE. He denies murder and two counts of attempted murder. Two other men were taken to hospital with serious injuries, one remains in a critical condition.

Court 15 at 10am trial of alleged Hong Kong spies Chi Leung Wai, 38, and Chung Biu Yuen, 63, who are accused of being involved in surveillance and “hostile” reconnaissance against critics in the UK of the Hong Kong authorities.

Court 15 at 10am Preparatory hearing in the case of Mostafa Sepahvand and two other alleged Iranian spies charged with targeting UK-based journalists so that “serious violence” could be inflicted on them. They are accused of targeting individual journalists working for Iran International, an independent media organisation based in London.

Court 15 at 11am Preliminary hearing in the case of Jermaine Grant accused of directing Al-Shabaab fighters in Somalia between 2007 and 2010. Prosecutors allege he attended commando training camps, became a platoon leader, fought in battles, and possessed AK-47 rifles for terrorist purposes.

Court 15 at 11.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Ricky Ryder, 38, and Jack Slowey, 34, who are accused of pouring flammable liquid on Peacehaven Mosque in Sussex and setting it alight while two worshippers were inside.

Court 15 at 12 noon Preliminary hearing in the case of Steven Davies and two others accused of causing £2.4 million damage at a firm allegedly linked to the Israeli miliary

Court 15 at 2.30am plea and trial preparation in the case of Lewie Chiaramello and four other alleged members of Palestine Action relating to a break-in at RAF Brize Norton in which two RAF planes were covered in red paint

Court 16 at 2pm Plea in the case of Muhamed Nur Osman accused of murder. The body of 50-year-old Billy Keegan was found with a stab injury in the corridor of a block of flats in Ilford, East London
