Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Monday

Court 2 at 10am Pre-trial review in the case of Kulvinder Ram accused of attempted murder after a woman, who is aged in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy were all found suffering stab injuries in Dagenham, east London

Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Ercan Akbal and five other Kurds, who  have pleaded not guilty to membership of the proscribed group, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, also known as the PKK, between March 1 2011 and November 27 2024.

Court 7 at 10am Hearing in the case of Benjamin Marmah, 19, and another accused of attempted murder after a 17 year old boy was shot and critically wounded in Arnos Grove, North London

Court 7 Not sitting trial of Cimarron Dume-Gooden and Alpacino Veii who deny murder. Issa Souleman, 28, , and Kwabena Ofori, 28, accused of perverting the course of justice. The chargs are in relation to the murder of Leroy Mitchell, 35, a father of three, who was shot as he left a party in Croydon, South London on October 2 2021.

Court 8 at 10am trial of Angel Gonzalez-Angulo and four others in relation to the murder of 21-year-old Giovanny Rendon Bedoya, who was stabbed to death in Walworth, London SE

Court 9 at 10am trial of Tahjin Sommersall and three others in relation to a drive by shooting. Michelle Sadio, 44, was killed as she stood among a crowd of mourners after a wake at the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church in Harlesden, London NW on 14 December 2024.

Court 10 at 10.30am trial in the case of Juan Joseph, a former government contractor, who worked in the intelligence community, is accused of making “damaging” disclosures under the Official Secrets Act.

Court 12 at 10am trial of Peter Wraith and two others including two building companies charged under health and safety regulations.

Court 14 at 10am trial of Jayson Diur-Kota accused of murder. On August 30, 2016, Bempah-Cumberbatch, 25, was shot in the head on Turnpike Lane in Wood Green, North London

Court 15 at 2pm trial of alleged Hong Kong spies Chi Leung Wai, 38, and Chung Biu Yuen, 63, who are accused of being involved in surveillance and “hostile” reconnaissance against critics in the UK of the Hong Kong authorities
