CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON FRIDAY

Court 2 at 10.30am Sentence in the case of Nathan Gill, a former Member of European Parliament (MEP) who pleaded guilty to eight counts of bribery, after an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing uncovered how he received payment in return for making statements which supported the presence of pro-Russian media outlets in Ukraine. Gill, 52 of North Wales pleaded guilty on Friday, 26 September at the Old Bailey to eight counts of bribery, under the Bribery Act, 2010. The hearing is expected to be streamed over Youtube on the Sky News channel

Court 3 at 10am Case management in the case of Russian sea captian Vladimir Motin. His container ship crashed into a US oil tanker in the North Sea and he is charged with manslaughter on the grounds of gross negligence. Crew member Mark Angelo Pernia, 38, died in the collision off the East Yorkshire coast.

Court 6 at 10am trial in the case of Elyas Moussa accused of stabbing to death Recorda Davey-Ann Clarke in Willesden Green, London NW, who was out with his girlfriend celebrating her birthday

Court 8 at 10am trial of Leandro Kaienga, 28, and another who are accused of murdering Okechukwu Iweha, 46, just before 6am on 7 April. The victim was stabbed in Northumberland Park, North London.

Court 9 at 10am trial of Joshua Michals accused of the murder of 31 year old, student Zhe Wang, who was stabbed to death in an East London property.

Court 10 at 10am Sentence of Gibson Dalton-Shingleton and two others Gibson who were arrested and charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine and cannabis.

Court 12 at 10am trial of Renaldo Roberts and four others in relation to the murder of Jason Romeo,20, who was stabbed to death in East London

Court 14 at 11am Sentence of Vaishnav Sasi accused of a serious sexual offence.

Court 16 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Christian Batista-Gonzalez accused of the murder of 21 year old Giovanny Rendon Bedoya, who was stabbed to death in Walworth, London SE.
