Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Friday

Court 2 at 2.30pm Mention in the casee of Abderahman Boumzough accused of murder. Schoolboy, 15-year old Rene Graham, was shot dead in a Ladbroke Grove park, West London. A second youth was shot at but escaped unhurt.

Court 3 at 10.30am Case management in the case of Anthony Gilheaney accused of four counts of attempted murder after pedestrians were hit by a car in London’s West End on Christmas Day. The car was travelling on the wrong side of the road in Shaftesbury Avenue, Soho – in the capital’s theatre district – when it hit four people.

Court 5 at 2pm Mention in the case of Daniel Parmenter, who was arrested after an alleged ‘bomb hoax’ sent the United States Embassy in London into lockdown 

Court 6 at 10am trial of couple Nazil Merthoca and Herbert Kalanzi accused of the murder of their three month old daughter. Kaylani Kalanzi died from a head injury alleged to be consistent with “shaking or impact”.

Court 7 at 10am trial of of Awad Abdel Samed and another accused of murder. The victim, 19-year-old Mohammed Adam Abdi was stabbed to death in Westminster, central London

Court 10 at 10am trial of Joshua Eno accused of murder. The victim, 21-year-old Rico Andrews was shot in the chest in Battersea, South West London.

Court 12 at 10am Sentence in the case of seven men in relation to the murder of 22 year old Janayo Lucima, who was shot dead on his doorstep in West Kensington, London in a “planned execution,” the court heard.

Court 13 at 10am trial of O’Quaine Simpson, 19, who is accused of the attempted murder of an 18-year-old student and possession of a knife outside Shooters Hill Sixth Form College in London SE. The victim was stabbed.

 Court 15 at 10.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Jazz Reid accused of two counts of attempted murder after an eight-year-old girl and her father were seriously injured in a shooting in west London.
