Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Tuesday

Court 2 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Jahmal Joseph accused of shooting to death his cousin and injuring his brother following a row at a wake. Jordan Rodney, 30, died after being shot in the eye and his brother Omar Joseph was shot in the head and hand in Hammersmith, West London

Court 3 at 10m trial in the case of Muhammed Ahmed for 19 alleged breaches of notification requirements under the Counter Terrorism Act 2008. He is also charged with two offences of fraud by false representation.

Court 6 at 10am New trial of couple Nazil Merthoca and Herbert Kalanzi accused of the murder of their three month old daughter. Kaylani Kalanzi died from a head injury alleged to be consistent with “shaking or impact”.

Court 7 at 10am trial of of Awad Abdelsamed and another accused of murder. The victim, 19-year-old Mohammed Adam Abdi was stabbed to death in Westminster, central London.

Court 10 at 9.45am Mention in thecase of paedophile Shaun Taylor-Thompson, who was given another chance by a judge was caught with images and videos of babies being abused for a second time. 

Court 10 at 10am trial of Joshua Eno accused of murder. The victim, 21-year-old Rico Andrews was shot in the chest in Battersea, South West London.

Court 13 at 10.30am trial of O’Quaine Simpson, 19, who is accused of the attempted murder of an 18-year-old student and possession of a knife outside Shooters Hill Sixth Form College in London SE. The victim was stabbed.

Court 16 at 10am trial of Romario Gordon in relation to the murder of 16 year old Cameron Smith,16. The teenage victim was stabbed to death in his bedroom in Croydon, South London after a group of youth brandishing zombie knives smashed their way into his home.
