Cases of interest at the Old Bailey Friday

Court 2 at 10am Preliminary hearing in the case of Muhammad Arif, who allegedly attacked a detective while being questioned about terrorist offences

Court 2 at 11am Preliminary hearing in the case of Louie Adams and four others accused of forcing their way into weapons firm, Elbit Systems UK, based near Bristol, on 6 August 2024 during a Palestine Action protest. They are charged with aggravated burglary, criminal damage and violent disorder.

Court 2 at 11.30am Preliminary hearing in the case of Muhammad Khalid charged with vandalising two aircraft at RAF Brize Norton. He is the fifth person to be charged in connection with the incident. The attack led to Paltestine Action being proscribed as a terrorist organisation

Court 3 at 10am New trial in the case of Muhammed Ahmed for 19 alleged breaches of notification requirements under the Counter Terrorism Act 2008. He is also charged with two offences of fraud by false representation.

Court 5 at 10am Pre-trial review in the case of O’Quaine Simpson, 19, who is accused of the attempted murder of an 18-year-old student and possession of a knife outside Shooters Hill Sixth Form College in London SE. The victim was stabbed.

Court 5 at 11am Mention in the case of Christian Batista-Gonzalez accused of murder. The victim, 21-year-old Giovanny  Rendon Bedoya,21, was stabbed to death in Southwark, London SE

Court 5 at 11.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Sundjata Keita and another accused of murder. Ahmed Deen-Jah died after being stabbed in east London in 2017.

Court 8 at 10.30am sentence in the case, Tyrone Attwood in relation to the murder of 21-year-old Rico Andrews, who was shot in the chest in Wandsworth, London SW

Court 15 Not sitting trial in the case of Francie McCarthy charged with the murder of 16-year-old Deonte Mowatt-Slater , who was stabbed to death in Islington, North London

Court 16 at 10am trial of Romario Gordon in relation to the murder of 16 year old Cameron Smith,16. The teenage victim was stabbed to death in his bedroom in Croydon, South London after a group of youth brandishing zombie knives smashed their way into his home.
