Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Thursday
Court 5 at 10am trial of a 35 year old man accused of the manslaughter of a 33 year old Polish man, who was strangled in 2017 in Clapham, South London. The defendant also denies conspiring to rob the victim, Piotr Woroniecki.
Court 7 at 10am trial of a teenager who denies 13 charges including intending to commit an act of terrorism.
Court 9 at 2pm Sentence of ex-soldier Errol Woodger, who was convicted of manslaughter. Marc Allen, 51, died in hospital on 29 January 2020, almost a month after he was run over by his own car during a burglary in December 2019 in Erith, London SE.
Court 9 Not sitting trial of Five young men, who allegedly murdered a Greek tourist in south-east London after following him for more than half an hour when he left a nightclub. Antonis Antoniadis, 26, was stabbed in the chest and suffered a deep wound to his thigh in New Cross.
Court 11 at 10am trial in the case of seven youths charged in relation to the murder of 20-year-old Jesse Lloyd-Smith. He was shot dead in an alley close to his Peckham, London SE home.
Court 13 at 10am Sentence in the case of Hamza Kamali and others accused of murder. Saley Beya, 38, was stabbed in East London and died three weeks later.
Court 14 at 10am trial in the case of Jacob Losiewicz and others in relation to the murder of teenager Daejaun Campbell,15, who was stabbed to death with a Zombie knife.
Court 14 at 2pm Sentence in the case of a woman, Habiba Naveed, 34, who was convcited of murdering 72 year old lawyer, Christopher Brown in Lewisham, London SE. Brown died from blunt force trauma
Court 16 Not sitting trial in the case of in the case of Jason Furtado and others in relation to a double murder. Leonardo Reid, 15, and Shekaj Slevi, 23, died after a fight involving up to 40 people broke out in Elthorne Road, Islington, north London. The killings happened while a rap video was being filmed
