Court 3 at 10am Sentence of Aklakar Rahman, who admitted making repeated attempts to kill prison officers. He attacked staff at HMS Swaleside in Kent and high-security Belmarsh jail, south London, in September and October 2022, while serving a life sentence
Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Bamidele Fawehinmi and two others accused of assaulting and killing a man, whose body was found in a Hackney, East London house.
Court 6 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Anthony Gilheaney accused of four counts of attempted murder after pedestrians were hit by a car in London’s West End on Christmas Day. The car was travelling on the wrong side of the road in Shaftesbury Avenue, Soho – in the capital’s theatre district – when it hit four people.
Court 6 Day off in trial of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon. The pair are charged with the manslaughter of their newborn baby daughter Victoria whose remains were found in a Lidl “bag for life” in a Brighton allotment shed.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Khuedr Al Kurdi and seven others in relation to the murder of 22 year old Janayo Lucima, who was shot dead on his doorstep in West Kensington, London in a “planned execution,” the court heard.
Court 9 at 9.45am trial of hospital worker Benjamin Aninakwa and an NHS trust who have both denied causing the death of a 22-year-old mental health patient after she allegedly gained access to items used in 18 earlier attempts to take her own life. Alice Figueiredo died at Goodmayes Hospital, north-east London, in 2015.
Court 10 at 10am Pre-trial review in the case of Rumani Tuitt accused of attempted murder after an 18 year old youth suffered a serious stab wound to the stomach at the Notting Hill Carnival
Court 11 at 10am trial in the case of Errol Woodger accused of murder. Marc Allen, 51, died in hospital on 29 January 2020, almost a month after he was run over by his own car during an incident in December 2019 in in Erith, London SE.
Court 12 at 10am Inquest into the death of schoolgirl Rhianan Rudd,16, who was groomed online by a far-right extremist in the US and became “fixated” on Adolf Hitler and wanted to “blow up a synagogue” before she took her own life. Her mother referred her to the deradicalisation programme Prevent – but she was later arrested by counter-terrorism officers and then placed under investigation by MI5.
Court 16 at 10am Preliminary hearing in the case of Cameron Gloria De-Almedia accused of eight terrorist offences, including possessing a document containing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism
Court 16 at 11am Preliminary hearing in the case of Alexander Dighton accused of attempted murder after he attacked three police officers in Wales. Police said officers challenged the man at a police station and he launched the attack.
