Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Tuesday

Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Bamidele Fawehinmi and two others accused of assaulting and killing a man, whose body was found in a Hackney, East London house.

Court 6 at 10am Mention in the case of Keith Davies, head of sport for the World Paralympic Athletics Championshipsthe 2017 and UK Athletics Ltd., accused of corporate manslaughter. Abdullah Hayayei, a United Emirates athlete died after a metal throwing cage fell on him at Newham Leisure Centre in East London

Court 6 at 10am trial of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon. The pair are charged with the manslaughter of their newborn baby daughter Victoria whose remains were found in a Lidl “bag for life” in a Brighton allotment shed.

Court 7 at 3.45pm Mention in the case of James Harding accused of conspiracy to murder and drugs offences. Harding was arrested after a hack by French and Dutch police of the EncroChat encrypted phone system in April 2020 that saw messages shared with British police

Court 8 at 10am trial of Khuedr Al Kurdi and seven others in relation to the murder of 22 year old Janayo Lucima, who was shot dead on his doorstep in West Kensington, London in a “planned execution,” the court heard.

Court 11 at 10am Mention in the case of Marcus Arduni Monzo,36 accused of murdering a 14 year old boy by running up behind him and slashing his neck and chest with a samurai sword. He allegedly attacked Daniel Anjorin as he walked to school in Hainault, north-east London. Four other people – including two police officers – were seriously injured in separate attacks, all within 20 minutes.

Court 12 at 10am trial of Shakeil Thibou accused of the murder of Cher Maximen, 32, who was stabbed in the groin with a zombie knife in front of her three year old daughter at the Notting Hill Carnival. She got mixed up in a fight with three men. Thibou’s brothers, Sheldon, 25 and Shaeim, 22, are also on trial charged with assaulting an emergency worker and violent disorder.

Court 15 at 10am trial in the case of brothers Louis and Stewart Ahearne and Daniel Kelly in relation to the conspiracy to murder of cage fighter Paul Allen,45. The victim was left with life changing injuries after being shot in East London in 2019.

Court 16 at 10am trial in the case of in the case of Jason Furtado and others in relation to a double murder. Leonardo Reid, 15, and Shekaj Slevi, 23, died after a fight involving up to 40 people broke out in Elthorne Road, Islington, north London. The killings happened while a rap video was being filmed.
