Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Monday
Court 1 at 9.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Adejuwon Oyekan accused of murder. Jason Thompson, 54, from Hayes, was found with a stab wound to his neck.
Court 1 at 11am Case management in the case of Devonta Rose and two others accused of murder. The victim, Taha Errami,22, suffered a broken ankle during an alleged robbery in London’s West End. Seven weeks later he died of a deep vein thrombosis.
Court 5 at 10am trial of Nathan Tokosi and another accused of attempted murder after a man in his 20’s was shot in West London
Court 7 at 10am trial of four suspected Russian spies. Bulgarian nationals, Ivan Stoyanov, Vanya Gaberova, Tihomir Ivanchev and Katrin Ivanova were arrested under the Official Secrets Act and are said to have been working for a Russian agent.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Khuedr Al Kurdi and seven others in relation to the murder of 22 year old Janayo Lucima, who was shot dead in West Kensington, London
Court 9 at 10am trial of hospital worker Benjamin Aninakwa and an NHS trust who have both denied causing the death of a 22-year-old mental health patient after she allegedly gained access to items used in 18 earlier attempts to take her own life. Alice Figueiredo died at Goodmayes Hospital, north-east London, in 2015.
Court 10 at 10.30am New trial of Tron McEntee and two others accused of murder after a man was stabbed to death in an Ealing, West London pub.
Court 11 at 10am trial in the case of Tyler Roberts-Emmanuel accused of murder. Shaquille Graham, 30, was gunned down in Catford Broadway, London SE.
Court 14 at 10am trial of Kyle Kitchen accused of murdering his own daughter. Kitchen, 36, from Camden, north London allegedly injured Primrose Kane when she was a baby on November 3, 2014. Primrose later died at the age of six, allegedly as a result of her father’s actions, on May 17, 2021.
Court 15 at 10am trial in the case of brothers Louis and Stewart Ahearne and Daniel Kelly in relation to the conspiracy to murder of cage fighter Paul Allen,45. The victim was left with life changing injuries after being shot in East London in 2019.
Court 16 at 10am trial of David Walcott and another accused of murder. Rijkaard Salu Siafa,22, was stabbed to death in Croydon, South London
