Court 3 at 10am trial of motorist Javier Salazar, who is alleged to have killed a pedestrian, while two and a half times over the legal alcohol limit and on the wrong side of the road.. The victim, sixty-two-year-old Derek Kernan, was thrown into the air in the alleged hit and run accident in Tottenham, North London and died at the scene.
Court 5 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Aminan Rahman, who was alleged to have murdered his wife in a jealous rage after finding out she had taken a lover. Suma Begum,24, was placed into a suitcase and dumped into a nearby river in East London.
Court 5 at 10am trial of former police watchdog boss Michael Lockwood over allegations he sexually abused and raped a 14 year old girl at a sports centre in Hull nearly 40 years ago.
Court 6 at 2pm Sentence of cyclist Chakile Gonladieu accused of fatally stabbing a BMW driver after his mountain bike was dragged along the road by the victim’s car. He is alleged to have murdered Alexandros Josephs, 29, through his car window in Ladywell, south-east London.
Court 10 at 10am trial of Petko Zhutev and four others, who were arrested after authorities siezed 200 million pounds worth of Cocaine at Portsmouth, which had arrived from Columbia. Over two tonnes of the drug was found hidden in banana boxes
Court 12 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Marcus Arduini Monzo, 36, accused of murdering 14 year old Daniel Anjorin in Hainault, East London with a sword during a 22 minute rampage in which a further four people – including two police officers – were seriously injured.
