Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Thursday

Court 5 at 10am trial of former police watchdog boss Michael Lockwood over allegations he sexually abused and raped a 14 year old girl at a sports centre in Hull nearly 40 years ago.

Court 6 at 10am trial of cyclist Chakile Gonladieu accused of fatally stabbing a BMW driver after his mountain bike was dragged along the road by the victim’s car. He is allegedto have murdered Alexandros Josephs, 29, through his car window in Ladywell, south-east London.

Court 7 at 3pm Mention in the case of James Harding accused of conspiracy to murder and drugs offences.

Court 8 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Steven Sansom and Gemma Watts both accused of murder. Body parts of Sarah Mayhew,38, were found in a New Addington, South London park. Her body had been dismembered with power tools.

Court 9 at 10am trial of Maria Joan Nellies accused of murder. Gary Sampson, 34, was stabbed to death in his Cricklewood, London NW home

Court 10 at 10.30am trial of Petko Zhutev and four other accused of drugs offences. Cocaine worth £200 million was seized by authorities after being smuggled into the UK in banana boxes.

Court 12 at 2pm Mention n the case of serving prisoner Thomas Kavanagh, Irishman, Liam Byrne and two others. Kavanagh is accused of organising firearms to be dumped and their location leaked to the police in a trade for a reduced sentence.

Court 13 at 10am Sentence in the case of Jurick Croes and three others in relation to the murder of Richard Obi, 25, whose body was found by his sister after she received a mystery call and was directed to the scene. The victim’s mother was tied up with duct tape close to the body of her son. Obi had been stabbed nine times

Court 14 at 10am trial of Tyrese Jennings accused of murder. Yusuf Mohamoud,18, was stabbed to death in Finchley, North London.

Court 15 at 10am trial of Isay Stoyanov and two others in relation to the murder of Turkish DJ Koray Alpergin,44.
