Cases of interest at the Old Bailey Wednesday

Court 2 at 10am Mention in the case of Biser Dzhambazov and eight others accused of being in a Russian spy ring. They allegedly conspired to gather information which would be useful to an enemy.

Court 3 at 10am trial in the case of Wael Farroukh accused of murder. Milton Hurlington,42, was stabbed to death in Wembley, West London

Court 5 at 10.30am trial of Aminan Rahman, who has been charged with murdering his wife, Suma Begum, 24. Her body was stuffed into a suitcase and dumped into the River Lea in East London.

Court 5 at 9.30am Case of Mark Gordon and Constance Marten charged with manslaughter, concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice. A huge search was sparked when Constance was known to have given birth. The couple went on the run because they did not want the baby to be taken into care. The baby’s body was found in woodland near Brighton.

Court 7 at 9.30pm Mention in the case of James Harding accused of conspiracy to murder and drugs offences.

Court 7 at 10am New trial of Abbas Jean-Pierre and another accused of murder. Hamid Mani, 20, died after he was knifed on Wellesley Road, Harrow, West London on 9 August 2023.

Court 9 at 10.30am trial in the case of Donovan Kenlyn accused pushing a random member of the public onto the underground train tracks as well attacking two other Tube passengers at West Hampstead and Baker Street stations . The man on the tracks was saved by two brave members of the public, who pulled him to safety at Finchley Road tube station.

Court 12 at 10am trial of Tyrese Barnett and seven others in relation to the murder of Tyler McDermott, 17, died in hospital in Tottenham, North London from a gunshot wound to his head.

Court 14 at 10am trial of Tyrese Jennings accused of murder. Yusuf Mohamoud,18, was stabbed to death in Finchley, North London.

Court 16 at 10am trial in the case of Jalees Selby-Gangera,18, and three others accused of murdering 24-year-old Kai McGinley. The victim’s car was rammed in Erith, London SE and he was blasted with a shotgun. The prosecution alleges it was “a planned and targeted execution which was almost certainly drugs related”.
