Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Friday

Court 1 at 10.30am Preliminary hearing of Callum Parslow accused of attempting to murder an asylum seeker at a Home Office hotel, in an alleged far-right terror attack.

Court 3 at 10am Mention in the case of Hasaan Arshad, a former employee of a “sensitive government organization” who is facing charges for allegedly endangering national security by taking confidential information home.

Court 5 at 10am Jury deliberating in the trial of Mark Gordon and Constance Marten charged with manslaughter, concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice. A huge search was sparked when Constance was known to have given birth. The couple went on the run because they did not want the baby to be taken into care. The baby’s body was found in woodland near Brighton.

Court 5 at 10.30am Sentence continues of Marius Gustavason and six others involved in the publication of videos on the ‘eunuch maker’ website. Gustavason had his testicles removed. The case involves wide-ranging conspiracy involving up to 29 offences of extreme body modifications on 13 victims, the removal and trade of body parts, and the uploading of videos.

Court 8 at 10am Mention in the case of rapper, Kemani Duggan, who uses the stage name Bandokay. He is charged with possession of a handgun and ammunition without a licence.

Court 8 at 2pm Case management of Dajour Jones accused of the murder of 20-year-old Jamie Gilbey, who disappeared. His body was found in South Norwood, South London.

Court 8 at 2pm Plea and trial preparation of Faseh Sajid, who has been charged with six counts of disseminating terrorist publications contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Court 12 at 10am trial of Tyrese Barnett and seven others in relation to the murder of Tyler McDermott, 17, died in hospital in Tottenham, North London from a gunshot wound to his head.

Court 13 at 10.30am trial in the case of Mohamed Nur accused of an unprovoked, stranger murder in broad daylight on a woman in Brixton, South London. Johanita Dogbey, 31, was attacked from behind with a makeshift blade.

Court 15 at 10am Case management in the case of Donovan Kenlyn accused pushing a random member of the public onto the underground train tracks as well attacking two other Tube passengers at West Hampstead and Baker Street stations on October 27. The man on the tracks was saved by two brave members of the public, who pulled him to safety at Finchley Road tube station.

Court 15 at 10.30am trial in the case of Suvenca Martis and two others, who are charged with murdering Richard Obi, 25, whose body was found by his sister after she received a mystery call and was directed to the scene. The victim’s mother was tied up with duct tape close to the body of her son. Obi had been stabbed nine times

Court 16 at 10am trial in the case of Asad Sharif and five others in relation to the murder of 18-year-old Abubakkar ‘Junior’ Jah in East London in 2021. The victim was shot and stabbed.
