Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Friday
Court 2 at 10am Hearing re the Inquest into the 2020 terror attack in Forbury Gardens, Reading. Three men were stabbed to death and three other people were seriously injured by 25 year old Libyan male refugee, named Khairi Saadallah.
Court 3 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Kyle Kitchen accused of murdering his own daughter. Kitchen, 36, from Camden, north London allegedly injured Primrose Kane when she was a baby on November 3, 2014. Primrose later died at the age of six, allegedly as a result of her father’s actions, on May 17, 2021.
Court 5 Not sitting trial in the case of Mark Gordon and Constance Marten charged with manslaughter, concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice. A huge search was sparked when Constance was known to have given birth. The couple went on the run because they did not want the baby to be taken into care. The baby’s body was found in woodland near Brighton.
Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of Enriko Spadiu and others accused of murder. Kai McGinley,24, was shot dead in Erith, Kent.
Court 10 at 10am New trial in the case of Migen Emilova and another in relation to the murder of Stefan Stelian Moraru, 44, who was stabbed through the heart in Barnet, Herts.
Court 11 at 10am trial of Amadou Bah and four others accused of attempted murder after a 28 year old man was shot in the chest in New Malden, South London
Court 12 at 10am Mention in the case of Dajour Jones accused of the murder of 20-year-old Jamie Gilbey, who disappeared. His body was found in South Norwood, South London
Court 12 at 10.15am trial of Karl Black and four others in relation to the murder of Jordan Briscoe, 25, who was stabbed to death in Tottenham, North London.
Court 13 at 10am Case management in the case of Petko Zhutev who was arrested in a police operation that netted up to 184 million pounds worth of cocaine
Court 15 at 2.30pm Mention in the case of Suvenca Martis and two others, who are charged with murdering Richard Obi, 25, whose body was found by his sister after she received a mystery call and was directed to the scene. The victim’s mother was tied up with duct tape close to the body of her son. Obi had been stabbed nine time
