Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Tuesday
Court 2 at 10am Hearing re the Inquest into the 2020 terror attack in Forbury Gardens, Reading. Three men were stabbed to death and three other people were seriously injured by 25 year old Libyan male refugee, named Khairi Saadallah.
Court 3 at 10.45am Pre-trial review in the case of Migen Emilova and another accused of the murder of Stefan Stelian Moraru, 44, who died from a stab would to the heart in North London.
Court 4 at 10am Sentence continues of Ryan Brown and five others for the murder of 17 year old Michael Jonas, who was lured to a park in Bromley, London SE and stabbed to death by a gang riding bicycles. The motive was alleged to be the victim was a “snitch”
Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Mark Gordon and Constance Marten charged with manslaughter, concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice. A huge search was sparked when Constance was known to have given birth. The couple went on the run because they did not want the baby to be taken into care. The baby’s body was found in woodland near Brighton.
Court 8 at 9.30am trial in the case of Enriko Spadiu and others accused of murder. Kai McGinley,24, was shot dead in Erith, Kent.
Court 8 at 10.45am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Joshua Eno accused of murder. The victim, 21-year-old Rico Andrews weas shot in the chest in Battersea.
Court 10 at 10am trial in the case of Theo Simon and others accused of murder. Givani Espuet, 21, was stabbed to death during a mass brawl outside a restaurant in Sudbury, West London
Court 11 at 10am trial of Amadou Bah and four others accused of attempted murder after a 28 year old man was shot in the chest in New Malden, South London
Court 12 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of PC Christopher Corker. Arthur Hölscher-Ermert, 27, was on foot when he was struck by a police car just after 11.10pm on Saturday 30 April 2022.
Court 12 at 10.30am trial of Karl Black and four others in relation to the murder of Jordan Briscoe, 25, who was stabbed to death in Tottenham, North London.
Court 15 at 10am trial of Sandip Patel accused of a murder that took place nearly 30 years ago. Marina Koppell,39, was stabbed to death in her Westminster, central London home in August 1994
