CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON WEDNESDAY
Court 1 at 10am trial in the case of Kaine Gilead accused of murder. The victim 25-year-old Ramane Wiggan, was shot dead in Lambeth, South London.
Court 2 at 10.45am trial of Lea Peacock accused of murdering his girlfriend and her male friend at different central London locations, hours apart. Sharon Pickles,45 and Clinton Ashmore,59, both had their throats cut.
Court 3 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Godfrey Madondo accused of murder. Jeremiah Sewell, 19, was stabbed in the neck as he sat in a parked car in Lewisham, London SE.
Court 4 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Juned Sheikh and another accused of murdering 63 year old Frank McKeever, whose body has not been found.
Court 4 at 11am Mention in the case of Marius Mihai Draghici, 49, who was detained by police in Romania in August. He is alleged to be a people smuggler and it is claimed he is was involved in organising a lorry, in which 38 Vietnamese were found dead in the back.
Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Sean Maurice,29, accused of murdering his father. Paul Maurice, 51, was found with multiple stab wounds to his chest atr a house in Bromley, London SE.
Court 6 at 10am Jury expected to retire in the case of Mohamed El Abboud, 26 and Kusai Al-jundi, 23 who have both been charged with the murder of Louise Kam,71. The pensioner was last seen by a family member near the Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet, Herts at around 12.30hrs on Monday, 26 July. Her body was found at an address in Harrow, Middlesex on Sunday, 1 August.
Court 6 at 10am New trial of Jarrad Spence-Robinson, 24, also known as O’Field, who is accused of killing Seun McMillan on 2 May 2017. Mr McMillan, 23, was attacked in Enfield, north London, as he walked towards his house with friends. He was stabbed once in the chest.
Court 7 at 10am trial in the case of Steven Allan who denies the murder of millionaire banker Paul Mason,52. Allan knocked Mason to the ground with an uppercut punch, believing he had stolen his friends phone. Mason, the CEO for Qatar National Bank, died six months later from brain injuries. Allan admits manslaughter.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Ali Ceesay, 28, charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and possession of a prohibited weapon. It is alleged Mr Ceesay fatally shot Mr Mohamud, who died at the scene, in North London on September 21. Two other men, aged in their 20s and 30s, also suffered gunshot injuries and were treated in hospital before being discharged.
Court 11 at 10am trial in the case of Kieran McHugh and another accused of murder. Abdi Khadar Adan,32, died in hospital after he was stabbed in East London at around 4.30pm on Sunday August 22.
Court 14 at 10am trial of university lecturer Ying Zhang, 55, accused of stabbing to death his estranged wife, Hannan Xiao, 52,outside a parents evening at their child’s North London school
Court 16 at 10am trial in the case of Deekan Vig accused of murdering his 86 year old father. The pensioner died of a head wound.
