CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON WEDNESDAY
Court 1 at 10am trial in the case of Kaine Gilead accused of murder. The victim 25-year-old Ramane Wiggan, was shot dead in Lambeth, South London.
Court 8 at 10.30am trial of Ali Ceesay, 28, and others charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and possession of a prohibited weapon. It is alleged Mr Ceesay fatally shot Mr Mohamud, who died at the scene, in North London on September 21 2020. Two other men, aged in their 20s and 30s, also suffered gunshot injuries and were treated in hospital before being discharged.
Court 10 at 10am New trial of Jason Bell accused of stabbing to death his girlfriend Nicole Hurley, 37
Court 11 at 10am trial in the case of Kieran McHugh and another accused of murder. Abdi Khadar Adan,32, died in hospital after he was stabbed in East London at around 4.30pm on Sunday August 22.
Court 15 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Shaquiel Samuels accused of the murder of Otas Sarkus,20, who was shot dead in Newham, East London. The defendant also denies attempting to murder an 18 year old, who was also wounded.
