CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON TUESDAY

Court 1 at 10.30am trial in the case of Kaine Gilead accused of murder. The victim 25-year-old Ramane Wiggan, was shot dead in Lambeth, South London.

Court 5 at 10.30am Mention in the case of Godfrey Madondo accused of murder. Jeremiah Sewell, 19, was stabbed in the neck as he sat in a parked car in Lewisham, London SE.

Court 5 at 10.30am trial of Simon Pilgrim,40, who has been charged with making an explosive substance for unlawful purposes and three charges of possessing a document containing information useful to terrorism.

Court 6 at 10am Application continues in the case of wealthy Nigerian politician Ike Ekweremadu, his wife Beatrice and London man Obinna Obeta on charges linked to an alleged organ-harvesting plot. They are accused of bringing a 21-year-old man from Nigeria to the UK. Prosecutors claim they planned to have his kidney removed so it could be given to their daughter, Sonia.

Court 10 at 10am Rehal Theobolds accused of murder after he held two minicabs so a gang could escape after stabbing to death Anthony Adekola, 22, in Collingdale, London NW

Court 11 at 2pm Plea and trial preparation in the case of Shaun Pendlebury and two others accused of the murder of Shakira Spencer, 35. The female victim was allegedly tortured and killed and her body left to rot in a child’s bunk bed. She was found in a badly decomposed state.

Court 12 at 10am trial of Klodjan Samurri accused of a sex attack on a woman

Court 16 at 10.30am trial in the case of Cornell Burrell and Oliver Scott accused of murder. The body of gym sales manager Justin Bello,38 was body found in a bin shed by dustmen. He had been strangled. Three others are also in the dock accused of trying to cover up the crime.
