Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Thursday

Court 6 at 10am. Sentence of Nathan Smith who stabbed to death 30-year-old Algerian delivery rider Takieddine ‘Taki’ Boudhane in a road rage incident. He then fled the country and was put on Europol’s Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Court 6 at 11am Mention in the case of Shabazz Suleman accused of being member of ISIS and preparing acts of terrorism. The former Grammar School student allegedly joined Isis after vanishing while on a family holiday as a teenager more than eight years ago. The charges relate to his alleged activities in Syria

Court 7 at 10am trial of Leon Rashid and three other teenagers accused of attempted murder. Police were called to Henry Road, Brixton, South London at 6.15pm on February 23, where they found James Bascoe-Smith,17, suffering from stab injuries.

Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of Romain Lapierre and others, including a youth who was 15 at the time of the offence, accused of murder. The victim, 16-year-old Camron Smith, was stabbed to death in Croydon, South London.

Court 11 at 10am trial in the case Ramela Gordon and another and accused drugs and conspiracy to commit violence offences.

Court 12 at 10am trial in the case of Jeremiah Briscoe accused of conspiracy to commit GBH. Natalie Bignell,33, caught in the cross fire of a shoot out between rival gangs in Hackney, East London and was shot in the neck. She was rendered a quadriplegic by injuries she sustained.

Court 13 at 10am trial in the case of Sabbir Miah charged with “disseminating a terrorist publication”, which is banned under the 2006 Terrorist Act. 

Court 14 at 10am trial continues of barrister Robin Jacobs,39, accused of raping a woman he met on Tinder. On their third date, the pair were having consensual vaginal sex before he attempted anal sex  without consent, a court heard

Court 16 at 10am trial of Daryl Bethel and others accused of the murder of a 15 year old schoolboy. Ian Habimana was stabbed in the heart in Woolwich last July as he made his way home from school in what was described as a “revenge attack”
