(COURT RUNNING AT A LOW LEVEL DUE TO THE BARRISTER’S STRIKE AND HOLIDAY PERIOD)
Court 7 at 11am Plea and sentence in the case of Ibrahim Lunat accused of attempted murder following the stabbing of a 16 year old youth in Hackney, East London.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Leeban Farah and five others accused of conspiracy to murder following a “gun battle” outside a funeral party in London NW. The victim, Billy McCullagh, 27, who was shot dead, had travelled with his friends in a stolen Land Rover to target rival gang members in July 2020, but the “tables quickly turned” and the surprise attack failed, the court heard.
