Cases of interest at the Old Bailey on Friday

(Barristers strike has reduced the number of trials listed all this week)

Court 1 at 10am trial of Lauren Saint George and Darren Hurrell charged with murder of their ten week old baby daughter, Lily-Mai. The tot suffered head injuries.

Court 4 at 9am Mention in the case of Damien Bendall who allegedly murdered 11-year-old Lacey Bennett, her brother John Paul Bennett, 13, their mother Terri Harris, 35, at a house near Sheffield, South Yorkshire in September last year. The 32-year-old is also accused of killing Lacey’s friend Connie Gent, 11, who was at the family’s home for a sleepover. Bendall, of Killamarsh, South Yorkshire, is also charged with the rape of schoolgirl Lacey.

Court 6 Not sitting trial in the case of Hamani Laouar who has denied murdering a delivery driver and stabbing two other men in the same North London street just seven days apart.

Court 12 at 10.30am Mention in the case of Godfrey Madondo and another accused of murder. Jeremiah Sewell, 19, was stabbed in the neck as he sat in a parked car in Lewisham, London SE.

Court 13 at 10am Mention in the case of Tyreece Riggon and others, accused of the murder of Lavaun Witter,22,who was stabbed to death in Croydon, south London.

Court 14 at 10am Mention in the case of David Adeyanju accused in relation to the murder of minicab driver Gabriel Bringye, 37. The victim was found collapsed inside a vehicle in Tottenham, north London suffering from stab wounds.
