CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON FRIDAY

Court 5 at 10am trial in the case of Demi Anderson and others in relation to the murder of father of four, Lee Baxter, 34, who was stabbed in an alley in Southdown Crescent, Newbury Park, east London

Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of Hassan Hamza and three others accused of murder. Irmani Allaway-Muir,22, was shot dead in Islington, North London. The court heard it was in revenge for the robbery of a Rolex watch.

Court 9 at 10am trial in the case of Taylor Purdy acccused of murder. Father of four, Dean Edwards, 43, was shot in the back of the head, in a case of mistaken identity,  in London SE as he left a pub.

Court 12 at 10am trial in the case of Harvey MacFoy and others accused of stabbing Albert Amofa in the leg. The victim died on December 17, 2019, two days after he was found injured.

Court 13 at 10.30am trial in the case of Joseph Kokkinos and others in relation to thef murder of Loeike Guei,23, who was set on fire in Mitcham, South London and died.

Court 14 at 9.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Kai Kinyanjui,19, who was charged with murder three years after a fatal car crash. It relates to a collision on February 1 2018, when 26-year-old Monzir Mohammed was hit by a car on Twin Tumps Way in Thamesmead, Greenwich, south-east London. Kinyanjui is also accused of perverting the course of justice.

Court 14 Not sitting trial of Rickardo Williams, 19, and Jahni Menzie-Samuels, 19, who both deny murder, while Karlene Joseph, Menzie-Samuels’ 43-year-old mum, deny perverting the course of justice. Hussain Al-Saabri, 23, was stabbed to death by a gang armed with a Rambo knife. Two of the victims friends were seriously injured in the attack in Harrow town centre in London NW

Court 16 at 9.30am trial in the case of Denzel Kwateng and others accused of the murder of 17-year-old Denardo Samuels-Brooks, who was stabbed to death in Streatham, South London.
