CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY

Court 1 Not sitting trial of James Watson, who is charged with murdering six year old Rikki Neave. Rikki’s naked body was in woodland a few minutes from his home in Welland, Peterborough, on November 29 1994. Watson would have been 13 at the time of the killing. He was arrested following a cold case review.

Court 4 at 10am trial in the case of Jasmine Robinson accused of assisting an offender. The case relates to the death of Liam Dent, 25, who was dragged for half a mile under a car in Chessington, Surrey. Martin Eastwood is accused of murder.

Court 6 at 10.30am trial in the case of Courtney Ellis and Aaron Youngsman, who are accused in connection with the murder of rapper Craig Small, 32, who was also known by rap name Smallz. He was gunned down in Wembley, London NW in 2019.

Court 7 at 10.30am trial in the case of Alfie Ferguson and three others teenagers accused of murder. Bubacar Jabbie Dukureh, 17, who was known to his family as Bubacar Jabbie, was attacked in Walthamstow, East London on 23 October 2020.

Court 8 Not sitting trial in the case of Hassan Hamza and others accused of murder. Irmani Allaway-Muir,22, was shot dead in Islington, North London.

Court 9 at 10am trial in the case of Ben Alexander and four others accused of violent disorder in relation to the murder of Frankie Bulbrook, 34, who suffered multiple injuries during a mass brawl. The victim was run over by a car.

Court 12 at 10.30am trial in the case of David Adeyanju and others accused of murder. Minicab driver Gabriel Bringye, 37, was found collapsed inside a vehicle in Tottenham, north London suffering from stab wounds.

Court 13 at 10.15am trial in the case of pensioner Dennis McGrory,74, accused of the murder and rape of 15 year old Jacqui Montomery, who was sexually assaulted, stabbed and strangled at her home in Islington, north London in 1975. DNA advances led to the defendant’s arrest, the court was told.

Court 14 at 10.30am trial in the case of Paul Fontaine and another accused of conspiracy to murder. Fontaine used EncroChat messages to supply a gun used in one murder and a plot for a second shooting weeks later.

Court 16 at 10.15am trial in the case of Adam Meragan and another both accused of attempted murder and firearms offences after a gun was fired in a Hackney, East London street.
