CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY
Court 1 at 10am Application in the case of Suvenca Martis, who is charged with murdering Richard Obi, 25, whose body was found by his sister after she received a mystery call and was directed to the scene. The victim’s mother was tied up with duct tape close to the body of her son. Obi had been stabbed nine times.
Court 1 at 10.30am Application in the case of pensioner Keith Bettison,71, who denies murdering his 48 year old wife Ildiko Bettison in Chessington, London SW
Court 5 at 9.30am Pre trial review in the case of Brian Sengendo accused of murder and attempted murder after Therasia Gordon, 44, was found dead in Enfield, North London.
Court 8 at 10.30am trial in the case of Nanu Miah and four others accused of murder. Property manager Eron Miah,40, was found at 10.30pm lying in a side road in Whitechapel, East London on November 19th with gunshot wounds to the head.
Court 9 at 9.30am Mention in the case of James Peppiatt,21, who allegedly attacked his late mother’s partner, Tony Eastlake, with a household-style knife following an altercation. The incident happened in Islington, north London, at around 5.30pm on May 29. Mr Eastlake,55, who was known as the “flower man of Islington”, collapsed and died from a single wound to the back.
Court 12 at 10am trial in the case of Shariq Khan and others accused of murder. Mohammed Mirza, 19, was stabbed to death in Ilford, East London last November.
Court 14 at 10.30am trial of Armen Aristakesyan accused of murdering a woman in Ealing, West London. Serafima Meshaka, 58, died after suffering head injuries
