CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON TUESDAY

Court 1 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Daniel Briceno Garcia accused of a double murder. Sonia Calvi, 56, and 59-year-old Edgar Daza were found with multiple stab wounds at a flat in Stockwell, south London

Court 1 at 10am trial of Neo-Nazi teenager Matthew Cronjager,18,, who denies preparing acts of terrorism after allegedly trying to make a 3D-printed gun. He also allegedly said he “wanted to execute” an Asian boy because he had sex with a white girl, the court heard.

Court 5 at 9.30am Application in the case of David Cheres accused of murder. Thai national Tiparat Argatu, 43, died from neck and head injuries at a property in east London.

Court 5 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Denzel Kwateng and others accused of the murder of 17-year-old Denardo Samuels-Brooks, who was stabbed to death in Streatham, South London.

Court 5 at 11am Mention in the case of Anton Rhoden and another, who are both accused of two counts of attempted murder following the stabbing of a man and a woman in Woolwich, London SE.

Court 6 at 10am trial of Kevin Arnold, who allegedly stabbed to death his 61 year old uncle Michael Fletcher’s at his Luton flat to pay a debt. He forced his uncle to reveal the PIN number of his bank card at knifepoint. The victim suffered 47 knife wounds.  The debt was owed to 51-year-old Barry Gavin, who also denies murder.

Court 8 at 10.30am trial in the case of Nanu Miah and four others accused of murder. Property manager Eron Miah,40, was found at 10.30pm lying in a side road in Whitechapel, East London on November 19th with gunshot wounds to the head

Court 9 at 10am trial in the case of Damien Simmons accused of the murder of singer Eddy Grant’s niece. He allegedly left primary school assistant Denise Keane-Barnett-Simmons to burn to death at a house fire in  Stonebridge, northwest London.

Court 12 at 10.30am trial in the case of Shariq Khan and others accused of murder. Mohammed Mirza, 19, was stabbed to death in Ilford, East London last November.

Court 13 at 10am trial in the case of Tishaine Johnson-Farrell and another accused of attempted murder after a 16 year old youth was stabbed in Haringey, North London.

Court 14 at 10.30am trial of Armen Aristakesyan accused of murdering a woman in Ealing, West London. Serafima Meshaka, 58, died after suffering head injuries.
