CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY.

Court 1 at 10.30am trial in the case of Daniel Burrell accused of murder. Barrington Davis,54, was knifed to death in Lewisham, London SE in May.

Court 5 at 10am trial of alleged road rage killer Robert Barrow accused of running over a woman during a row over a minor crash. He is was charged with the murder of Tahereh Pirali-Dashti, 40, and assault of a 56-year-old man.

Court 8 at 9.30am Plea and trial preparation of Met police officer PC Edward Welch accused of causing the death of a child actor and his aunt during a police chase as officers pursued a fleeing driver. PC Welch faces four charges, including two counts of causing death by dangerous driving after Makayah McDermott and Rozanne Cooper were killed in the chase nearly five years-ago.

Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of 18 year old Muhammad Jalloh and two others, who deny murder. David Gomoh, 24. an NHS worker, was stabbed to death outside his home in Newham, east London.

Court 9 at 10am Plea to be taken in the case of Nicholas Jones accused of stabbing to death 45- year-old Paul McCarroll in Croydon, South London. The victim was the defendant’s mother’s boyfriend.

Court 9 at 2pm trial of Khalid Hogan and another accused of murder. Abdullahi Mahmoud, 29, was shot dead in Enfield, North London.

Court 14 Not sitting trial of Kiziku Tuwizana, Besnik Berisha and Bobby Rogers accused of a double murder. Two Eastern European men aged 30 and 35 years old were stabbed to death in Hertfordshire just before Xmas 2019.

Court 16 at 11am Mention in the case of Daniel Briceno Garcia accused of a double murder. Sonia Calvi, 56, and 59-year-old Edgar Daza were found with multiple stab wounds at a flat in Stockwell, south London

Court 16 at 11.30am trial of Connor Gwynn-Bliss and five others including teenagers aged 16 and 17 accused of murder. Former England taekwondo star Amrou Greenidge, 18, was riding his bike through Fulham, south-west London when he was hit by a car and then attacked while on the ground. He died in hospital.
