CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON FRIDAY.

Court 1 at 9.30am Review in the case of Anthony Kemp accused of a 1983 cold case murder. Christopher Ainscough, 50, was found with significant head injuries at his home in Kilburn, London NW more than 37 years ago.

Court 1 at 10.30am trial in the case of Daniel Burrell accused of murder. Barrington Davis,54, was knifed to death in Lewisham, London SE in May.

Court 5 at 9.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Tishaine Johnson-Farrell and others accused of attempted murder after a 16 year old youth was stabbed in Haringey, North London

Court 7 at 2pm Mention in the case of Romello Harley accused of murder. Tashawn Watt,19, was stabbed to death in Sydenham, London SE.

Court 8 at 10am trial in the case of Evans Innocent, who was arrested after a series three of stabbings in London including a woman in her 40’s. He denies attempted murder and GBH.

Court 9 at 10.30am trial of Danyal Hussein accused of stabbing to death sisters Nicole Smallman, 27, and Bibaa Henry, 46, in Fryent Country Park in Wembley, north-west London, in the early hours of Saturday June 6 last year. It was allegedly a random attack.

Court 11 Not sitting trial of Elton Sefa, who is accused of beating to death John Woodward, 47, a builder, whose body was found on a roof in Hatton Garden, central London.

Court 12 at 9.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Taye Francis of murdering a woman in a West Greenwich, London SE hotel. Khloemae Loy,23, was stabbed to death. 

Court 12 at 10.15am trial in the case of 18 year old Muhammad Jalloh and two others, who deny murder. David Gomoh, 24. an NHS worker, was stabbed to death outside his home in Newham, east London.

Court 12 at 2pm Mention in the case of Louis De Zoysa charged with the murder of Police Sergeant Mat Ratana, who was shot dead at the Croydon Custody Centre in South London . De Zoysa suffered a gunshot wound to the throat. It has been reported that at the time of the shooting, which took place in the early hours of September 25 last year, De Zoysa was an employee of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. De Zoysa, 23, has been in hospital under police guard for the last nine months since the fatal incident.

Court 13 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Michael Lebbie and another accused of the 2020 murder of Kamal Nuur,18, in Islington, North London. The victim was stabbed to death.

Court 14 at 9.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Nicola Leighton and her son Tyreese Ulysses,19, accused of murdering Levi Ernest-Morrison,17, who was hacked to death in a machete attack in Sydenham, London SE

Court 14 at 10am trial of Kiziku Tuwizana, Besnik Berisha and Bobby Rogers accused of a double murder. Two Eastern European men aged 30 and 35 years old were stabbed to death in Hertfordshire just before Xmas 2019.

Court 16 at 9.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Tyson Haynes accused of causing death by dangerous driving. Nicole Newman and her eight-month-old baby were killed in a horror collision in south east London more than two years ago. The mother was hit as she pushed her baby in a pram down a road in Penge, London SE

Court 16 at 10.15am trial of Connor Gwynn-Bliss and five others including teenagers aged 16 and 17 accused of murder. Former England taekwondo star Amrou Greenidge, 18, was riding his bike through Fulham, south-west London when he was hit by a car and then attacked while on the ground. He died in hospital
