CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON WEDNESDAY

Court 5 Not sitting trial in the case of Edison Brahimi and another accused of murder. Grineo Daka, 27, was shot dead at the Phoenix Snooker Club in Leyton, east London, on July 7.

Court 8 at 10.30am trial of Samual Agyeman and others in relation to a shooting of a 26 year old man. The victim survived.

Court 9 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Neculai Paizan,63, accused of murdering a 20 year old Hungarian woman. Agnes Akom, who had been living in the UK for three years, has been missing since she left her home in Cricklewood Broadway, north-west London, on May 9.

Court 9 at 2pm Application in the case of Michael Hand accused of three counts of blackmail where he is alleged to have demanded money “with menaces” from a company between May 2018 and February 2020. The 45-year-old also denied a charge of contaminating or interfering with goods in a place where they were sold. The company involved cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Court 11 at 10am trial in the case of Emeka Dawuda-Wodu and others accused of perverting the course of justice. William Algar’s dismembered body was discovered at an address in Barnes, London SW on January 3, following concerns for his welfare. The 53 year old’s arms and legs had been removed from the body and a post-mortem examination carried out at Kingston Mortuary gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.

Court 13 at 10am trial of student, Andrew Dymock, 23, who is alleged to have promoted the neo-Nazi System Resistance Network (SRN) group through his Twitter account and website.

Court 14 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Oliver Muldowney ,34, of no fixed address was charged with murder and two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, namely cocaine and heroin. The 39 year old victim was stabbed.

Court 14 at 10.30am trial of Kiziku Tuwizana, Besnik Berisha and Bobby Rogers accused of a double murder. Two Eastern European men aged 30 and 35 years old were stabbed to death in Hertfordshire just before Xmas 2019.

Court 16 at 10.30am trial of Connor Gwynn-Bliss and others accused of murder. Former England taekwondo star Amrou Greenidge, 18, was riding his bike through Fulham, south-west London when he was hit by a car and then attacked while on the ground. He suffered severe head injuries and died in hospital.
