CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON THURSDAY
Court 5 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Harvey MacFoy and others accused of stabbing Albert Amofa in the leg. The victim died on December 17, 2019, two days after he was found injured.
Court 5 at 10.15am trial in the case of Edison Brahimi and another accused of murder. Grineo Daka, 27, was shot dead at the Phoenix Snooker Club in Leyton, east London, on July 7.
Court 6 at 11am Mention in the case of Danyal Hussein accused of stabbing to death sisters Nicole Smallman, 27, and Bibaa Henry, 46, in Fryent Country Park in Wembley, north-west London, in the early hours of Saturday June 6.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Abdi Karama and three others in relation to a shooting of a 26 year old man. The victim survived.
Court 9 at 10am trial in the case of Emeka Dawuda-Wodu and others accused of perverting the course of justice. William Algar’s dismembered body was discovered at an address in Barnes, London SW on January 3, following concerns for his welfare. The 53 year old’s arms and legs had been removed from the body and a post-mortem examination carried out at Kingston Mortuary gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
Court 12 at 9.45am Case management in the case of Damien Drackley, who is accused of perverting the course of justice during a trial in November 2018. He is also accused of “discussing about how he might benefit from the acquittal” of a defendant named Leslie Allen and disclosing jury deliberations, which is against the Juries Act 1974.
Court 12 at 10.30am trial of Clive Spencer and others accused of murder. Chad Gordon,27, was shot in the head in Haringey, North London in May.
Court 13 at 10am trial of student, Andrew Dymock, 23, who is alleged to have promoted the neo-Nazi System Resistance Network (SRN) group through his Twitter account and website.
Court 14 at 10am New trial of Kiziku Tuwizana, Besnik Berisha and Bobby Rogers accused of a double murder. Two Eastern European men aged 30 and 35 years old were stabbed to death in Hertfordshire just before Xmas 2019.
Court 16 at 10.15am trial of two alleged gunmen accused of stealing a luxury Range Rover in a plot to kill a rival. Leon De Silva, 21, and Rached Itani, 20, allegedly planned to murder Kemal Bassaragh on 6 November last year.
