CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON WEDNESDAY
Court 2 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Khalid Hogan and others accused of murder. Abdullahi Mahmoud, 29, was shot dead in Enfield, North London.
Court 2 at 10.30am Mention in the case of Tyrece Fuller accused of murder. Terrell Davis, 27, the brother of rapper 21 Savage, was stabbed to death in south London, while reportedly taking his grandmother shopping.
Court 2 at 11.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Victor Osei accused of murder. Anthony Higgins,62, was stabbed to death in Wembley.
Court 2 at 2.30pm Mention in the case of Cameron Robinson, 19, of Rainham Road South, was charged with the murder of Chad Gordon and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
Court 5 at 10am Application under the Proceeds of Crime Act in the case of Kazeem Akinwale accused of laundering £6 million for criminals around the world. The scam, known as a mandate fraud was finally unravelled when Christie’s Auction house realised it was being targeted, sparking a National Crime Agency investigation which led back to Nigerian-born Akinwale.
Court 6 at 10.30am trial of Levi Paschal, who is accused of the murder of 39-year-old Lee Casey who was stabbed to death in south London. He also denies attempting to wound a second victim and conspiracy to rob.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Francis Appiagyei and two others accused of murder. David Bello-Monerville,38, was fatally stabbed in Barnet, north London, on 18 June. The victim’s two brothers had also met violent deaths.
Court 9 at 10.15am trial of Stephen O’Rourke accused of murder. Rocky Djelal, a 38 year old father, was stabbed to death in London SE.
Court 12 at 10am trial of Shaian Forde, 25, and others including two schoolboys aged 14 and 16, accused of murder. Santino Angelo Dymiter,18, was stabbed to death in East London.
Court 16 at 10.15am Defence case continues in the trial of HGV driver, Eamonn Harrison and three others in relation to a lorry in which 39 Vietnamese migrants died. Eight women and 31 men were found in the container in Purfleet, Essex, on 23 October last year. Police said they died from a lack of oxygen and overheating in an enclosed space
