CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON WEDNESDAY

Court 1 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Ian Stewart, who was jailed for life in 2017 for killing his finace, children’s author Helen Bailey, whose body was found at the couple’s Hertfordshire home in 2016. Stewart, 60, has now pleaded not guilty to the murder of his wife Diane Stewart,37, who died at their Cambridgeshire home in 2010.

Court 2 at 4pm Preparatory hearing in the case of Khairi Saadallah accused of the Reading terror attack.  Saadallah, 25, is charged with murdering James Furlong, 36, David Wails, 49, and Joseph Ritchie-Bennett, 39, with a large kitchen knife in Forbury Gardens, Reading shortly before 7pm on Saturday 20 June.

Court 5 at 10am Mention in the case of Andrew Rowe accused of terrorist offences.

Court 5 at 10.30am trial in the case of Warwick Carson accused of murder. Abdulrahman Nassor Juma, 23, known as Mani to friends and family, was fatally knifed in Barking, east London on May 17 last year .

Court 6 at 10am Sentence of Jean-Marc Dable accused of murder. Akeem Dylon Barnes, 24, was stabbed to death at a party in Seven Kings, Essex.

Court 7 at 10.30am trial in the case of James Whyte and Crystal Culhane, both 21, accused of attempting to murder Paul Flory, 33, with a baseball bat. He was left in a critical condition.

Court 8 at 9.30am trial of Francis Appiagyei and two others accused of murder. David Bello-Monerville,38, was fatally stabbed in Barnet, north London, on 18 June. The victim’s two brothers had also met violent deaths.

Court 9 at 10.15am trial of Tyla Gopaul accused of stabbing to death Zakaria Abukar Shariff Ali, 26, outside the Rolling Stock nightclub in Shoreditch, East London on 24 November 2018.

Court 9 at 9.30am trial of £90,000 a year finance consultant Clare Sanders and her partner accused of murdering their four week old baby. The tot suffered severe head injuries.

Court 12 at 9am Mention in the case of Damien Simmons accused of the murder of singer Eddy Grant’s niece. He allegedly left primary school assistant Denise Keane-Barnett-Simmons to burn to death at a house fire in  Stonebridge, northwest London

Court 12 at 9.45am New trial of Shaian Forde, 25,  and others including two schoolboys aged 14 and 16, accused of murder.  Santino Angelo Dymiter,18, was stabbed to death in East London

Court 14 at 10.15am trial of Louis Kelly accused of murder. Mark McCann-Barrett, 33, was shot in Tottenham, North London and died three days later from his wounds.

Court 14 at 11am Application under the Proceeds of Crime Ace re: Sandy Kaur, 47, and Aaron Sanghera, 26, who allowed their company to be used to launder over £750,000 stolen by a fraudster posing as a rich businessman.

Court 16 at 10.15am trial of HGV driver, Eamonn Harrison and three others in relation to a lorry in which 39 Vietnamese migrants died. Eight women and 31 men were found in the container in Purfleet, Essex, on 23 October last year. Police said they died from a lack of oxygen and overheating in an enclosed space.
